I am not a referee. I bought these just for stick & puck sessions as I really didn't want wear full hockey pants. I did end up removing the cup as it was a bit too restrictive for me. I may fit a different cup but otherwise, they fit great.
It was as described, but similar padding to my current McDavid football girdle that I use for reffing

The girdle does not have enough padding. The CCM girdle is much better.
Padding is too thin, took a hard fall on my hip/ass and might as well have been wearing nothing. Pay the extra for the bulkier girdle or go for the padded pants. I ended up ordering some padded shorts off Amazon to wear with these so I would have more protection.

Does the job. Gives you that extra protection needed under the pants. They fit well, nice and snug where the padding stays where it is supposed to to be and not move when skating. A must have for refs involved in very competitive leagues.
Comfortable
Thinner than I expected which made me buy a bigger size of pants to accommodate that then ended up being way too big. Looks like they’ll add some protection without being overly bulky. Wish they had a women’s option as it was remarkably difficult to find just a Jill pelvic protector to swap out for the Jock.
Nice product. Additional padding under my pro pants for that snug fit plus extra protection when needed. The only issue is after about 3 months of use, one of the seems has started to unravel showing the padding inside. Would have thought this product would have last somewhat longer before any signs of deterioration.

I'm not sure what this is suppose to protect you from. Foam or whatever it is, is way to thin, doesn't cover proper areas. I'm not sure what it's good for. Plus, sizing runs on the small side. Very disappointed, wouldn't recommend. Way too expensive for what you get.
This has Padding in the right places. It is lightweight and also includes a cup, nice added piece for under your padded pants for that added protection when officiating higher level games. Better than the competitions product, great material good movement form fitting. For sizing go by the chart it is correct . If you’re a 34 waist, get the medium it fits better.
